Make your desire to achieve something outweigh the punches you will take from its failures. One of the greatest ways to learn and get better at something is through the practice of failing, or what we call, perseverance. So, if you find yourself ‘underachieving’ keep at it! Don’t be down on…
This is exactly what I needed to read! Going through a shit time right now…
Even though I haven’t been in London since March this year, I still keep my Oyster Card in my phone wallet, even though it’s completely useless here! Brings back the good memories of my trip every time I use my phone :)
Honestly, I thought I could never love public transport, but I LOVED taking the Underground! Beautiful train stations, the longest wait for a train was like 4 minutes (at 11pm on a Wednesday night!), it was hilarious being stuck on a 3 minute delayed train and seeing the Londoners grumble and my boyfriend and I being so happy cause it was only 3 minutes! :P Take public in Melbourne and you’ll see why I love the Underground so much! :P
Battle of Britain
This is amazing. My nanna was born near Manchester just before the war started; it was the only life she knew while living in Britain before migrating to Australia when it ended.
I love how in the second picture, that no matter how bad it was, there’s still a lovely table set up for a cuppa, haha :)
